The Tigers fielded a very credible lineup in 1937, list that included several Negro League stars such as Neil Robinson, Jelly Taylor, Mule Suttles, Ted Radcliffe, and Marlin Carter. Despite the star-studded lineup the team finished third in the Negro American League.

Home games were played at Crosley Field.
